The Afghanistan Fiasco: Look at Whose Doing the Blaming

Biden blames the Afghan government for the corruption and for the total crumbling of resistance to the Taliban. Blame well deserved. But what about blaming Bush, Obama, Trump and himself for  supporting such an unpopular regime over 20 years with billions of dollars and the lives of US troops (not to mention those of the Afghan people). If there was corruption, whose money was getting robbed and squandered? And was it just a corrupt Afghan elite that benefited? What about US military contractors. Not surprisingly. the corporate media divert attention from the real issues by conjuring up panic regarding the impending reign of terror allegedly imposed by the Taliban. The corporate media deserves a big chunk of the blame for this two-decade debacle, just as it did for the ill-advised invasion of Iraq.
