Not Only Are the Politicians and Generals to Blame for the Afghan Fiasco - U.S. Mainstream Media are Responsible as well

The Taliban has not taken over Kabul, that is, all of Afghanistan. Twenty years of lives, money and destruction for what? The mainstream media’s analysis of why the Taliban has advanced so rapidly center on decisions taken by the Afghan government in military policy. No discussion of the broader issue of the utter 

failure of U.S. interventionism throughout the world. How deficient and superficial, if not pathetic, is U.S. journalism when it comes to foreign policy.
