Iran has Renounced any Intention of Developing Nuclear Weapons: You'd Never Know it from the Mainstream Media

 

Why doesn’t the corporate media clearly inform the public that Iran has renounced any intention of developing nuclear weapons? Whenever the New York Times, and its ilk, makes reference to Trump’s lies about electoral fraud in 2020, they clearly refer to it as a false statement. But not so when they refer to Trump’s repeated statement that Washington’s principal goal in attacking Iran is to assure that Iran doesn’t develop nuclear weapons. The issue of nuclear weapons and atomic energy gets conflated, undoubtedly intentionally so.
