When I tell people outside of the United States that Al Gore received 500,000 more votes than Bush in the 2000 elections, nobody seems to understand. They all think that I am referring to the electoral fraud committed in Florida. It’s like a baseball team that gets 5 runs and the opposing team gets 3, but loses the game. Who can understand that?
