Conference on “The Pluses and Minuses of Twenty-First Century Socialism in Venezuela”
I will be giving a talk at
the Catholic University in Ingolstadt, Germany (in Bavaria) on the 13th titled
“The Pluses and Minuses of Twenty-First Century Socialism in Venezuela.” I believe it’s important to strike a balance
between an objective discussion of the shortcomings and errors of the Chavista
governments, on the one hand, and criticism of the outside interference in
Venezuelan internal affairs and the gross distortion of the corporate media, on the other. At the same time, the positive aspects of Chavista rule have to be brought into the picture.
